"Through a spectacular selection of photographs - most of them seen from the air - the author invites us to relive the force of the sea and the beauty of the elements,  "that explode or calm down according to winds and tides", as well as the life and the work of people in this marine world.

Vivir el mar exhibition, that takes place in Madrid, in El Retiro park until June 22, covers the different angles of the sea's effects, beginning with the creation of the Earth, reefs, beaches and baies, causing extraordinary phenomenons like the Giants' Causeway in Ireland.
Than, the exhibition focuses on the man intervention in the marine world, such as the building of canals and bridges in Venice or in Florida.

The exhibition refers to sailors and lighthouses, which have guided them since the mists of time like the Hercule Tower in Corogna (Spain) or like more modern lighthouses such as Eddystone in the United Kingdom. This exhibition also highlights the photos of the most important ecological disasters due to the sea all around the world.
Traditional life scenes around the sea are pointed out. For example, little fishermen communities who practise a subsistence fishing or else modern conceptions of sailing that celebrate the gathering point between the man and the nature."
