Sea Photo International Festival 13  April - 8 May 2006 in Vannes

In 2002, Philip Plisson and Jimmy Pahun suggested the idea of a sea photo festival to the mayor of Vannes.
From this year on, the Sea Photo International Festival welcomes photographers from all over the world who came to share their passion for the images of the sea, around 20 free outside and inside exhibitions.

500 photographs are exhibited during night and day in the historic city center, around a theme : the Man and his link to the sea.

Philip Plisson exhibits in Ursulines chapel in Vannes 24 photographs extracted from the report in Brazil about Jangadas. Les photos sont éditées sur toile canvas dont la plus grande taille est 92cm x 216cm, un support d'art qui véhicule émotion et authenticité.

Philip expose aux côtés de Pierre Vergé : regard croisé en deux temps qui réunit les deux grands voyageurs à un demi-siècle d’intervalle, photographiant les pêcheurs du Nordeste du Brésil.
