Philip Plisson explains : “By exhibiting in London I am returning to the very place that gave me my passion for marine photography. Through my work, I try to honour the sea through my gaze and I hope that visitors to the exhibition can share my illustrated emotions, as I take them on a voyage between the sea and the sky.” The gallery is part of Oxo Tower Wharf, a landmark building on London’s South Bank. Over 60 iconic new images have been specially chosen for this exhibition, both to surprise and beguile visitors and to illustrate the beauty, fury and sheer ecological importance of the ocean. Plisson’s work is captivating and everyone will surely want to take a memento home, be it a print, a book or one of 60 fine art greeting cards.
