Guillaume wishes you a happy new year with Zen images...Interviewed by Photographie.com, Guillaume is enthusiastic : "I am a photographer, and I have a passion for everything in touch with the sea. The sea is my playground. I am interested in showing the sea in a different way. I enjoy looking at the sea with a contemplative mood, a Zen spirit. It takes me 4 to 5 hours to make one single photo (like the photo of the Men-Du beach in Morbihan, south of Brittany, France) and at a very special moment, I don't know why, I press the button, because I know that everything is in the right place." This photo of Men-Du beach appealed to Benoît Godeau, a well-informed collector of photography. Benoît Godeau says : "With the Men-Du beach, Guillaume has taken an emblematic photo, that will find its place in the photography's history. This photo is timeless. I am enthousiastic about its lighting and exposure. High luminosity is used to sublimate details. Digigraphy gives a new dimension to the photographer and his work. Digigraphy is no longer a photograph but a work of art. Listen to the interview (in French) of Guillaume and Benoît on the website of photographie.com Guillaume's plans for 2008 In 2008, Guillaume goes on taking pictures of beaches in France, from Calais to Menton, in the same way as the photo of Men-Du beach.
