Philip Plisson's photo report : Colors of Maine on the south east US coast - First part from Portsmouth to PortlandIn automn 2006, Philip Plisson photographed Maine, the largest state in New-England. Maine coast is full of colors, especially in automn, with its secluded harbors and rocky shorelines, and its numerous lighthouses. By 1907, 87 light stations guarded the coast and islands of Maine. Of these, 60-plus remain today and resist the waves' attacks. To see Philip Plisson's photo report, please click on slide show at the bottom of the page.
