Third part of Philip Plisson's photo report in India : Bombay and Cape ComorinIn Bombay, Philip Plisson invites us to visit the Taj Mahal hotel, the most prestigious hotel of India. It was built in 1904 by a rich parsi manufacturer who was not allowed to go in the best hotel at that time, because he was not white. That hotel exists no longer as opposed to the Taj Mahal hotel... The gateway of India was built in 1914, in King Georges' honour. It is the departure point to the Elephanta islands. At the most southern point of India, Cape Comorin is a place of pilgrimage and tourism. It is the meeting point of the thee seas : Oman sea to the west, Bengale sea to the east and Indian Ocean to the south.
