Belem, France's only remaining three masted barque, one of the oldest tall ships still sailing the seas, sails to Québec to celebrate the city 400th anniversary.

On April 18, 1608, Samuel de Champlain sailed from Paris for New France aboard the Don de Dieu with the intention of establishing a permanent colony along the St. Lawrence River.
He dropped anchor near Cape Diamond on July 3, 1608 and built many buildings. This stronghold would become Québec City...

Belem, as a prestigious ambassador of France's maritime history, sailed to Quebec last summer to celebrate the 400th Anniversary, after a 100-day trip.
