Yvon Haze enjoys photographying natural landscapes. What can be more relaxing than studying and capturing the curves, shapes and light of the immense and untouched spaces of the great landscapes.  
     
The lie of the land and the wide open spaces lead him to use the 4"x5" camera and the panoramic 6"x17" camera, and recently the 11"x14" camera. These are sizes which are particularly well suited to this type of shot.  
     
Photography using the 4"x5" or 6"x17" camera requires a little more thought before proceeding as everything needs to be well planned out. All the options must be weighed up such as time, framing, film, exposure and focal length in order to capture all of the many emotions experienced in these vast areas onto the Ekta.
