At the age of 17, Titouan Lamazou decided to travel the world and chose to travel by boat, offering his services as a crew member to ships in port. In the West Indies he met Yvon Fauconnier in 1975, and then Eric Tabarly, whose co-crew member he would be on Pen Duick VI for two years. Fifteen years later, after winning the First Vendée Globe Challenge, he found his first artistic vocation and published numerous works, before devoting himself to the project Women of the World, on which he has been working since 2002.
