Frédéric Malandain was born and grew up in Fécamp. In this Normandy capital of the “terre-neuvas”, when he was a child, he immersed himself in the maritime atmosphere. Very early on, he developed a passion for photography which has never failed. At the end of his studies, he came back to his cliffs. He settled with his wife in Cany-Barville and opened two studios, one in his town and one in Saint-Valery-en-Caux. Between two illustrated reports, he can’t resist going back to the cliffs and the remarkable view points of the Côte d’Albâtre, always accompanied by his inseparable Leica. He has edited books himself such as Les Hautes falaises d’Albâtre and Côte d’Albâtre. |
