His work in magazines, fine books and posters, is inspired by his two favourite themes : our cultural heritage (architecture, arts and crafts, archaeology, librairies…) and our natural heritage as seen in the relations between Man and Nature (the Seine Valley, the Museum of Paris, nature conservation, forest fires…). Garden art in France (private gardens), then in Europe (gardens of medieval inspiration) was a natural result of the crossing of these two paths.
